Virtual Environments break when new app added

Hi,

I have encountered an issue where I had a virtual environment setup in SCCM 2012. This virtual environment contained 10 App-V 5 applications that are linked to a Java JRE App-V 5 application.

An issue happened when I added in a new application to the virtual environment.

This resulted in the virtual environment no longer being sent to the client machines.

The App-V applications were sent but not the virtual environment/connection group.

I checked the AppEnforce log and I could the applications being installed, but no reference of the virtual environment.

I managed to fix this problem by re-distributing the Java JRE application to the DP's. (To note this Java JRE application was not changed in anyway, the only change was to the virtual environment by adding in a new app).

I hope you help solve the following questions I have.

Question1: Why would the virtual environment break in this way?

Question2: Since the log files on the client contained no reference of the virtual environment, what log files could I check on the server to help troubleshoot this problem?

Question3: Is there any commands I can use to re-send the virtual environment to the client machine?

Thanks

James
