We are preparing for a roll out of Windows 7 64bit across an estate of 3500+ with 47 different hardware models, and we are packaging over 500 applications which will be sent out to a geographically distributed team of end users to perform the user acceptance
testing. We are using SCCM 2012 SP1
What I would like to achieve is to have all existing packaged applications that are imported into SCCM automatically be made "available" via Software Center to 20 known laptops that have been issued to the testers. Plus "a nice to have" would be each time a new application has been packaged and imported into SCCM by the apps packagers, I would also like to have that automatically made available to the testers without my input. (but that might be asking for too much)
This way a tester can just select the application they wish to test from Software Center and I don't have to go through the very time consuming process of manually setting up a deployment for each of the 500+ applications to the testers laptop collection,
leaving me time to concentrate on the getting the drivers sorted out for the various model of hardware we are pushing our OS out to.
If this is possible I am guessing it will involve some sort of dynamic query or PowerShell scripting, but I am not sure where to start.
Advice, help, code, etc... would be much appreciated for this overworked sysadmin :-)
