Environment: SCCM 2012 R2, Single Primary site, 8 distribution points, Windows 2008R2, SQL Server 2008 R2.
Over the last few weeks I have noticed newly added clients are not showing up in collections based on AD group membership. In an effort to expedite a software delivery I was going to do a direct rue to add of a computer until I could figure out why the query was not working. To my astonishment the record was not available to add.
Direct rule is based on
Resource Class: System Resource, Attribute Name: Name, Value was set to the computerName, I tired %omputerNam% and still I do not get the resource as a selectable item.
This seems to persist for a varied length of time of a few hours, to a few days. It may be a consistent time frame as I only get pushed for the people who have to have an application immediately.
