App-v 5 Dependacy : VC++ 2012 Mini Runtime 'Update Error'

HI Everybody,

we have been deploying App-v 5 SP1 via SCCM App Deployment for about 7 months now and all was good. however all of a sudden we are getting wide spread reports of software centre complaining that and'Update Failed' for App-v.

Looking into the logs it looks like this is the reason.

Product: Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 Minimum Runtime - 11.0.60610 -- A later version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 x64 Minimum Runtime - 11.0.60610 is already installed.

So I think something has went wrong with the detection method, as we were only looking at MSI code to detection so I added an OR to look for the VC++ 2012 reg keys. however that still dose not work. so I changed an exit code as 1603 as a success but still not working, has anybody started to see this ? anybody know of a good way to resolve this ?
