Several Distribution Points at same subnet - Load balance

Hi,

I am using SCCM 2012 R2.

There is only 1 subnet (then only 1 boundary). The speed between SCCM servers and PCs is 1Gbps.

I have deployed 4 Distribution Points. All of the packages/images are distributed to the 4 distribution points.

The questions are:

Is it needed to configure load balancing between the Distribution Points?

Is there load balance by default between all of the Distribution Points?

if yes, what is the load balancing algorithm?
