How do I remove all user changes in a computer program?

I am doing a favor for a teacher friend of mine. She works at a small career school. There are 18 computers all running Practice Partner and MediSoft. These programs are very large. They have been uninstalling and re installing them every 9 weeks when they have a new class so they can erase all the changes the previous class made. These programs are used in Electronic Health Records in doctor's offices. Once you create a "patient" in the software, there seems to be no way to remove these changes without installing the respective programs fresh. I tried to install the program, create a restore point, make changes, then use the restore point. The changes I made, the "patient" I created, is still there. I have tried to change the program information in the registry files, that does not seem to work either. Is there a way to do like a ":factory reset" to remove this data? Thank you for your help!
