Hi,
What I did:
*Created new package version 2.0, published it and did set a supersedence on version 1.0.
I then get the message the application was in use should it could not remove version 1.0.
*If I close the application, it still cannot install with following error:
"Could not uninstall the App-V deployment type because of conflict. The published components in this DT are still published by other DTs. This DT will be always detected as long as other DTs are
still installed."
*
I unpublished version 1.0 but message stays the same. I updated the application but message stays:
"Could not uninstall the App-V deployment type because of conflict. The published components in this DT are still published by other DTs. This DT will be always detected as long as other DTs are
still installed."
I'd like to know:
-what the best/smoothest procedure is to update an app-v application while it can be in use by a user so he/she does not get an error
-should I choose to replace/uninstall previous version …
Please advise,
J.
