Everyone,
I'm probably making this far more complicated than it really is (story of my life), but I am trying to figure out the easiest way to send out an update to a program to all computers that have this "Available" , not required package.
Examples: The following applications we have deployed as available to our entire domain, and have been installed anywhere from 20-300 times:
Itunes
Quicktime
Dropbox
Evernote
Picasa
etc
What I need to know is the easiest way to update all of the clients that have these previously available deployed softwares, but not force it out to EVERYONE...but just those that have it.
The way I immediately think would be to create a collection of computers based on who has it installed, and the force it out...but there has to be a better way to do this automatically rather than a required update / specific collection scenario.
Thoughts?
