Include hardware drivers when hardware not yet present

Hi,

My scenario:

I have a Dell USB 3.0 Display Link docking station that will be rolled out to the business. The DS can connect to my Dell E7240 laptop allowing ethernet, display, usb etc all through one USB 3.0 cable. When plugged in the laptop detects the new hardware but doesn't have the drivers included and tries Windows Update. Dell provides an installer for the dock but it doesn't use standard installer switches - like silent - and must be run in full mode with dialogue and buttons to click through, therefore I can't put it into the TS. However, I have managed to pull the drivers (inf, cat, sys) and have added them to the Driver Package for my E7240 but since the dock isn't attached at the time of deployment the drivers aren't added/hardware discovered. I can deploy the full Dell application for the user to run from Software Centre but I'd prefer to have the drivers already on the laptop for install without them having to do anything. In essence it's a chicken and egg scenario - no dock, no drivers - no drivers because no dock.

How might you good people suggest I tackle this?

Thanks
