Hello
We have just started deploying software using applications rather than packages / programs. Definitely a learning curve, but we do seem to be getting there.
An issue i have is with the following option
Should Configuration Manager enforce specific behavior regardless of the application’s intended behavior?
This option is only available by going into an existing deployment type and then selecting the preferred option (in our case - no specific action).
(Deployment Type >> User Experience)
As this option isn't presented when you create a deployment type (its just available in the properties of existing DTs), I had wondered if there is a way to set the default option, for example so that without editing a DT, it always defaults to "No Specific Action" for all new DTs?
I am very wary of the fact that we could easily forget to go in and change this option and our users would be forced to reboot, which in our environment is not good!
Many thanks in advance for any pointers on this.
Cheers
