Hey Guys -
I'd expect this to be one of the top things asked, so apologize that I've been unable to locate the answer yet...
I know that when you change the source folder for a Package or Distribution Type in SCCM 2012, the entire source is re-distributed by default. A while back, I am certain I found a method / script where you could change the path without having to redistribute. Perhaps I was just dreaming. :) I also remember something about Binary Replication being a key part. Anyways, I have the below questions, please...
1. Does anyone currently know of a method / script where the source folder of a Pakage / Application Deployment Type may be changed without the content being required to redistribute to all DPs the package is currently distributed onto?
2. If no, would binary replication being enabled for a package cause it to run a comparison instead of a full re-sync (therefore faster overall)?
Thanks Guys!
Ben K.
