Lately we installed several BRIO wireless presentation devices here in the building. These BRIOs are connected to large touch screen TVs in our meeting rooms.People can connect to these BRIOs through WLAN and stream content from their laptops to the meeting room displays (presentations, videos, ..).
That can be done from Android/Apple devices and Windows PCs.For Windows PCs, you can either use the built-in Win7 tool netproj.exe or use aseparate tool from the BRIO vendor.
The latter is what we want to deploy here.
It is called ‘BRIO Screen Projector’ and has one major advantage that apart from video it can stream audio too. Audio is not possible with netproj.exe. It appears to be quite a simple tool. Installation runs without an interaction. Once installed you enter the desired BRIO name or IP and connect. That’s it.
Only problem is with manual installation; this requires admin rights . How can I distribute this package without making it available in Application catalog, as if I make it available, again it requires admin rights... any better source to distribute will relieve me from stress!!Basementmouse
