We currently are using SCCM for all of our old Zenworks duties in our system. We unfortunately have not been able to get imaging working with SCCM yet, so we are using a combination of FOG and SCCM to deploy systems in our network as our agreement with Novell has expired. Right now, when a machine images, it runs a script that installs endpoint protection and the SCCM client. I have two device collections "Base load Windows 7" and "Base Load Windows XP" that we put machines in manually to get the base load software. All the software is deployed as "Required" so that when its put in that group, it downloads software. The problem is, machines are taking upwards of 30-45 minutes for software to start downloading. Unlike zenworks there is no "refresh" button to force the machine to download required software. Right now we need to get this working until we get the imaging in SCCM working with task sequences. Does anyone out there have any solutions for me so that I can get this up and running while I get imaging going?
Thanks!
Tim
