I still don't get this new DP file structure. I've read this link which helped a lot http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/understanding-the-new-content-library-store-in-5-minutes/ but I still have questions. On our DP I've looked at the SCCMContentLib
and in our FileLib folder I see 1,636 folders. We've only created a handful of packages/applications I don't know why we have this many folders. Also, in this FileLib folder I see no actaul .MSI or install files. In fact I've searched our
whole drive and I don't find any of the actual .MSI files. I've done a search for *.msi and I don't find anything. here is what we have on our DP.
SCCMContentLib
SMSPKGH$ (this folder is empty)
SMSPKGGSIG
SMSSIG$
None of these folders has our source files. So I then searched all drives on our DP server (Looking for AcroRead.msi, which we've deployed). I don't find the .MSI. I only find the AcroRead.msi.ini file.
So where are my .MSI files? I've deployed AcroRead.msi to a few test machines and it worked but where did it run from? On my Local Workstation I do see the acroread.msi in the c:\windows\ccmcache folder so where did it come from if not from our DP?
