Scenario
Deploying an application to a small group of computers...about 270 workstations.\
I started getting status messages in the console, under Monitoring, Deployments
Successful systems started populating...then suddenly they stopped coming in. I looked at the In Progress and it shows the remaining systems either in status Waiting for Content or Content Downloaded. I got impatient, and I started checking random appenforce.logs on systems in both of these status messages. Sure enough they showed the application installed and was detected.
SO...my question...why and how do I troubleshoot my false status messages? Where would I trace these back? I imagine there is an inbox they are stuck in somewhere? Some queue of messages that got dumped?
I even created a new deployment, and collection of the same systems, and the status messages for the new deployment show the same results.
Very frustrated as from a reporting perspective I actually can't show factually that the deployments worked (especially when in a couple of weeks this is going out to over 10,000 systems, not just a handful).
