Dear Experts,

We are using SCCM Version 1602 - With Single Primary & Few Secondary Sites in our environment, we are facing an issue with content distribution to a distribution point. we are distribution content from our primary site to the secondary site and Distribution points.

Content is getting distributed to all the secondary sites and distribution points. But we have seen issues with 3 distribution points. these distribution points are getting content from secondary site servers. even for a small package of size 50MB is taking more than 24 hours only for these 3 distribution points we are seeing only"starting to process the content" "Start to Evaluate" or "Waiting for content" under monitoring in console.

Troubleshooting steps tried:

Checked the distmgr, PkgXferMgr, despool, sender logs we are unable to see any issues from these logs there is no error message or failures.

Re-distributed the content the status has not changed waited for more than 24 hours then removed the content and distributed to the distribution point no change. removed the content from administrator console and removed the content from the distribution point and re-triggered the content to the distribution point no change in the status.

we were able to access the admin$ share from the primary and secondary servers to the DP and from DP also also it is working fine without issues.

Checked IIS is up and running

Rebooted the distribution points which is having issues and restarted sms executive services in the primary server even then the status has not changed,

Kindly share us the other troubleshooting steps that can be done to fix this issue.

Thanks

Balaji S
