I am new to System Center but got a standalone version successfully installed and partly working.
I am currently working out the kinks for software center or deploying software. My goal is to find a way to force the client with Software Center installed to see the updates we made in the application in CM.
For example, I am trying to get Visio to work in Software Center. Say I made a change in one of the path or added a switch (ex. setup.exe /adminfile test.msp). I added a number in the name to make sure that what I see on the client machine is pulling the right settings.
I got the initial installation working but the uninstallation does not work which what I need this method for.
Also..................... If anyone can tell me how I can push software directly to the machine without having the user to go to software center and select and install it. Is that where you set it to "required"?
