The scenario is to have a specific user on specific computers permitted to install an application from either the software center or the application catalog.
For example John Doe could select and install Sonar from the Software Center or the Application Catalog on Workstations 1, 2 and 3, but cannot on any other workstations in the organization. The reason I want this is for software that requires user interaction
to install and can not be delivered via App-V or silently via installer switches. It's not an MSI based install and has a user prompt for the serial number which doesn't adhere to the silent installation switches the installer provides.
Primary users wouldn't apply because John is only logging into these machines just to install the software.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. This was the closest I got, but couldn't extrapolate the information to apply to my situation.
