I have got several SC2012 Configuration Manager Environments built up for several customers but I didn`t get behind one thing:
In SCCM2007 every Package and Program that was advertised and made viewable in the "Run Advertised programs" dialog on the client (by setting this option in the Advertisment) could be runned AND rerunned by the user.
In SCCM2012 this install Button seems to be dynamically greayed out under certain circumstances. Sometimes I can rerun a program (we still work with packages and programs not applications) but most of the time it is greyed out so that the user isn`t able to reinstall or start again the installation on his/her client only. The only possibility for me as Administrator is only to rerun the deploment but then it will be rerunned on any client (if I also define to rerun independantly the status of the advertisment before).
We have got the need, that one user may be restart the Advertisment independant of the status from the former deployment to this client (even if ran successfully before).
It works with remote triggering it with 3rd Party tool like Client Center but it doesnt work in SoftwareCenter itself.
So my question is:
Which conditions have to be met to have the "install" (or "Reinstall) Button in Software Center available for the User and under which conditions it is greyed out?
