Once a user is approved for an application, is there a way to limit the devices they can install it on? I know you can do this with Primary Device settings, but we do not want to make Primary Device mandatory because if for some reason that Primary Device correlation is removed, the app will be removed. This would cause us much grief...
Here's a good example, if a user has 2 Primary machines, a Laptop and a Desktop. The user wants Dragon Naturally Speaking installed to their desktop. Their user account is added to the appropriate user collection and they are approved. The app is installed to their desktop. The two following scenarios are what we would like to avoid:
1. The user is traveling for a length of time with their laptop and the desktop now loses the correlation with that user as the primary device and uninstalls Dragon.
2. The user goes into the software center or application catalog and installs another copy Dragon on the laptop.
I know under this scenario we could deploy solely to devices, but for eases sake would rather keep all deployments User centric. Just want to throw it out to the community and see if any has worked through this issue.
Thanks!
