Hi,
We have an Adobe CC package that is causing the SMS Agent Host service to restart on completion causing the config manager client to assume the package failed. The program is running with the following switch '/quiet REBOOT=ReallySuppress'.
We see the following events logged.
Windows Installer requires a system restart. Product Name: Adobe CC. Product Version: 1.2.0000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe Systems Incorporated. Type of System Restart: 2. Reason for Restart: 1.
Product: Adobe CC. Restart required. The installation or update for the product required a restart for all changes to take effect. The restart was deferred to a later time.
Restarting application or service 'SMS Agent Host'.
The following from execmgr.log
Can not continue monitoring the program after service restart because the process exited. Assume failed
Is there something we can do to the program properties or some other way we can prevent this from happening?
We've just upgraded to R2 from SP1 CU3, this is a new package so not sure if it's related.
