Application Packaging and deployment for a migration from Windows XP to Windows 10

Hello Everybody,

We are currently thinking migrate from Windows XP to Windows 10 very soon.

For now, we are using SCCM 2007 R3 to deploy physical package to physical desktop. A classic Way.

Do you think it will be interesting to use App-V and SCCM 2012 R2 to deploy new package to Windows 10 ? The goal is to have a centralized distribution and to manage some different version of software ( Ex : Java RunTime ) on the same computer.

Is someone of you can give me best practices about application management during a migration to Windows 8 / 10 ?
