I'm having a problem with the Application Catalog where, when I go to install an application, I receive the error message "Cannot install or request software". This is happening after imaging a computer with a 32-bit Windows 7 SP1 image. What's
strange is that the Application Catalog works fine in Firefox and Chrome; it only gives this error in Internet Explorer (version 9 is in the image). Reinstalling the SCCM client does not resolve the problem. I verified that the sccm server is in trusted sites.
The Application Catalog does work correctly in IE in my 64-bit Win7 SP1 image.
I've pasted below the contents of ConfigMgrSoftwareCatalog.log There are two errors near the bottom but I couldn't find much info about them; everything I could find indicated that it could be a problem with the client communicating with the management
point, but since Firefox and Chrome work I don't think that's the case. I don't see any errors in LocationServices.log but I do see "MPLIST requests are throttled for 00:04:45" occasionally.
