Hello Guys,

some Clients have Problems to show Application Deployments in Software Center. In Deployment Monitoring Tool I can see the Deployments. But if you select the Deployment I get the Error "DT cannot be empty". So I think the Policy isn't downloaded correctly.

Is it possible to reset Software Center?

HI Everyone,

I hoe this email finds you in your best health.

I have been trying to fix an issue where the machines from a particular locations are failing to PXE boot giving an error which I haven't faced yet so I need your expertise to find out the root cause of it.

For a specific site all the machines are failing to PXE boot and when we checked the log to find the exact reason for it it says:

"AsyncCallbacl():WINHTTP_CALLBACK_STATUS_SECURE_FAILURE ENCOUNTERED.

dwStatusInformationLength is 4.

IPVSTATUSInformation is 0x20

WINHTTP_CALLBACK_FLAG_CERT_DATE_INVALID is set..

Error Received 0x80072f8f from winHttpSendRequest.

I have checked everywhere and its is only happening for a specific location in our environment else everything else is working just fine.

I hope I could have your expertise in figuring out what I am missing and how to make it go away?

My boudaries for device connected in VPN target our Cloud Distribution Point ONLY. No fall back configur also. When testing, CAS.log find the Cloud DP bu also the Site Server. 

The device download the Software Update from the Site Server and not the cloud one.

How to avoid this? Or how to force specific Boundaries to only use the cloud DP?

I've been trying to deploy a package through SCCM and have hit a roadblock.

The scripted install does a number of Application uninstalls/installs including.

Uninstall Oracle 32bit 11.x

Install Oracle 32bit 12.x and Oracle 64bit 12.x

EMC ApplicationXtender.

Oracle installs without issue but ApplicationXtender fails.

Originally I thought it was something to do with SCCM elevating itself to local SYSTEM and not being able to access the share, so I set the package to download before installation (pretty big download).

If I run the install using "psexec.exe -i -s -d cmd.exe" the installation completes without issue.

Hello Guys,

some Clients have Problems to show Application Deployments in Software Center. In Deployment Monitoring Tool I can see the Deployments. But if you select the Deployment I get the Error "DT cannot be empty". So I think the Policy isn't downloaded correctly.

I am looking for the list of values for EvaluationState under CCM_Program using root\ccm\ClientSDK I have found the list for CCM_Application here but there is nothing listed for EvaluationState for CCM_Program here. It could possibly be that they are the same. Thank, Randy

I have two scenarios - one that is successful and one that is not.

I deploy a msi to a test group of 10-12 computers and it installs successfully, according to SCCM (with return code 0)  And testing proves it to have been a successful install.  I use the following "script" to install the software:

taskkill /f /im application_name.exe /T
msiexec.exe /i "msi_name.msi" /qn

After testing, I deploy the same exact msi, using the same exact script, to 1500 computers and it installs successfullyaccording to SCCM (with return code 0)

But after that, we find that we are missing a key file (happens to be a DLL) from the msi install.  We used verbose logging and the log file indicates that the file was written to disk during the install...

But it is missing and part of the application doesn't work.  A repair of the application fixes it and writes the dll to disk.

Any ideas why deploying the same msi, using the same batch file, would fail when deploying to a larger audience?

Would appreciate any ideas!

I am wishing to create a Office 2019 package using the SCCM Office 365 Installer. Going through the menus in the Office Installer GUI, I have selected Office Professional Plus 2019 - Volume License as the product. Once I get to the Licensing and Activation part, I enable to automatically accept the EULA, select the KMS Client Key radio button option, and then under Product Activation, I am only presented with User Based activation. Since this will be used for clients that will not have a E3 or E5 Office 365 license, I wish to select Deviced Based activation, however that option is greyed out for some reason.

Any idea why I cannot select Device Based activation through the Office 365 installer for Office 2019? If I can select Office Professional Plus 2019 - Volume License, I would assume that User Based Activation would be greyed out and not Device Based.

We use DP groups for distributing out content, so that we don't have to individually select DPs that we want to distribute content to.

When it comes time to clean up content no longer used, it seems the way to do this is to goto the Properties pf the content and then on the Content Locations tab, select each DP group listed and select Remove.

Am I correct that doing so will actually goto each DP that was preciously targetted by the content and remove the content? i.e. I want the content removed to free up space on the DPs.

If not, then what is the easiest way to remove a particular package from all DPs it is stored on ?

I have created a very simple application and test deployed it to a collection of 4 users (we normally target devices rather than users).

Anyway to cut a long story short the application has run successfully on 2 of the users computers but not appeared on the other 2. In monitoring I can see 2 successful deployments (100% success) but the others dont appear anywhere is in progress, failed, error, RNM or unknown.

Ive checked the 4 users in SCCM and they are all aware that this deployment has been pushed to them but I have no idea why they arent getting it!

Any logs I can check please or ideas on this?

I am trying to deploy Catia V5R21 on windows 7 x64 machines, deployment starts but doesn't not complete using sccm2012 R2

I can deploy software to windows 7 32bit machine fine using sccm2012 R2. Also manual install on windows 7 x64 works fine.

here is the script I am using-

I can see files copied over client machine and "c:\program files\Dassault Systemes\R18" get created, also an entry appear in control panel>programs and feature.

Problem I am having is deployment doesn't complete. 

I checked logs under Execmgr.log on client machine and found errors 

Raise Program Error Event for program Catia. The exit code is 55, the execution is FailureRetry

Non fatal execution error 0x87d01100 encountered for program Catia V5R21

I can't see program installed under All Programs and SCCM monitoring status stuck in progress 

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

It seems that client can't see any DP for them to download the application. Searching the internet, I found similar issues that are all pointing to boundaries. I have checked my boundaries and they all seems ok and configured properly. Actually, I was to able deploy software updates a few days ago and there was no recent change done on the sccm server especially with the boundaries.

What else can be done for this?
